Kyra Minturn

 KyraMinturn, born 19th August, 1965 is an American actor. Her most well-known part is as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her performance as Johnson. The seventh season of the show concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick's recurring role of Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also noteworthy. Sedgwick got an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline in Something to Talk About (1995). Her film credits include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) as well as Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are as well. Sedgwick is the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator, family therapist, venture capitalist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech Therapist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was Episcopalian. She was also of English heritage.
